The upcoming year 7’s of Almondbury Community School took part in a fantastic programme focusing on drama, cookery, sporting, enterprise, art based activities and many more workshops!
A trip to Bradley Wood filled our students with adrenaline as they took part in a series of fun and challenging physical activities.
On the final day of the Summer School, parents and carers were invited to the school to attend a fantastic family activity day, where those who attended had the privilege of tasting the culinary delights produced by our young chefs! Chicken and vegetable fajitas were served alongside crisp salad – and even homemade salsa. The main course was soon followed by pink lemonade and fresh fruit before a game of family rounders.
The programme came to a dramatic close as our (very hard working) students gave the parents and carers a fantastic performance of Macbeth.
Watch the video highlights of the week below, and let us know what you think about the programme!
